 South India Nature Tour Package Itinerary

DAY 01 – BANGALORE
The Travel Planners representatives will be greeting you upon arrival at Bangalore Airport. After which, you will be transferred to the hotel where you will be checking in. Your nature tour to India begins with a day’s worth sightseeing tour of the garden city of Bangalore and visits to beautiful buildings such as the Vidhan Soudha, Museum and Tipu’s Fort Palace. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 02 – MYSORE
After breakfast, our cab services will drive you to Mysore, where you will check-in to the hotel. Mysore offers a plethora of options to its visitors for sightseeing. Some of the spectacular places that you can visit in Mysore include the Brindavan Gardens, Shivanasamudra Falls, Mysore Zoo, Karanji Lake, and the Chamundi Hills. The day will be complete with a visit to the gorgeous Brindavan Gardens. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 03 – MYSORE
This Karnataka Kerala tour lets you delve deeper into the art, culture and history of the old city of Mysore. After breakfast on the third day is another day of sightseeing that comprises the Maharaja Palace, Devaraja fruit and vegetable market and the Tipu Sultan Palace. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 04 – KABINI
On the banks of the famous Kabini River is the Kabini Forest Reserve. Kabini is a must-visit destination for tourists who are looking for a perfect holiday spent among the lush green forests and breathtaking waterfalls. At Kabini, take a break from your busy and hectic schedule and indulge in nature. You can trek in the forest and connect with the surroundings and nature or boat down the Kabini river for an exhilarating experience. As you can also find a large number of Asiatic elephants in the Kabini forest reserve, taking up a Jungle Safari can be a great way to get closer to the wildlife. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 05 – WAYANAD
The 5th day of this South India travel package starts with a post-breakfast drive to Wayanad. On route to Wayanad, you will be visiting Banasura dam, which is the second largest dam in Asia and the Bhagavathi temple. Here, you can trek through the forests to the Banasura Peak or take a boating trip in the lake. The best time to visit the dam is from November to May. In addition to visiting the Bhagavathi temple, you can also go to other nearby temples, such as the Shri Ayyappa Mandir, Nirur Shiva Mandir, and Shri Nath Mandir. You will be checking in to the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 06 – WAYANAD – CALICUT
After breakfast, you will be visiting Lakkidi. After these visits, you will be proceeding to Calicut and checking in to the hotel upon arrival. Other popular attractions that you can plan to visit in and around Calicut are Dolphin’s point, the Science Planetarium at Jaffarkhan Colony, Mananchira, Thusharagiri, Vadakara, Beypore, Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary and many more.
DAY 07 – COCHIN
You can catch a glimpse of the intriguing mixed culture of Cochin with the architecture, museums, European-built churches, and the tiny historical towns. When in Cochin, also experience the Kerala Folklore Theatre and witness the treasure of the region’s numerous art and dance forms. Overnight stay will be in Cochin.
DAY 08 – COCHIN
After breakfast, your tour of Cochin starts, with sightseeing around town. This will include visits to St. Francis Church, 500 year old Portuguese houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, which was built by the Portuguese and houses some very interesting and notable mural paintings. In the evening you will be attending a “Kathakali” event, which is a traditional Malayali dance-form that depicts stories from Hindu mythology. The great food, authentic shopping, soothing massages, temples, and the amazing beach holidays in India that it offers, all make Cochin a great travel destination. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 09 – ALLEPPEY – HOUSE BOAT TOUR
Your trip continues with a post-breakfast drive to Alleppey. On arrival, you will be boarding a traditional Kerala houseboat which will cruise through Alleppey’s winding waterways, providing an insight into the lifestyle, culture and unrelenting beauty of small fishing villages. Overnight stay will be in the Premium AC Houseboat.
DAY 10 – KUMARAKOM
After breakfast you will disembark the houseboat at Kumarakom. Consisting of a settlement of villages on the Vembanad lake. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 11 – KOVALAM BEACH
In the morning, you will be proceeding to Kovalam Beach, checking in at the hotel upon arrival. After checking in, the rest of the day is to stroll through the sands and witness the sundown on Kovalam’s scenic horizon. You can find a variety of leisure options at the beach, such as swimming, sunbathing, herbal massages, catamaran cruising, and cultural programmes as well. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 12 – KOVALAM BEACH
This will be a day for rest and rejuvenation with an option for Ayurvedic massages and treatment. You can go for the one that suits your needs and budget. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 13 – DEPARTURE
Our airport services will transfer you to Trivandrum Airport.
