Itinerary of Dhanaulti Tour Package

Day 1: Delhi to Dhanaulti, via Rishikesh
As the best way to travel to Dhanaulti is by road, you can book a taxi or drive from Delhi. Start early
as around 100 km of the route is through mountains. The roads are smooth and there are lots of
refreshments stops along the way. Stop at Rishikesh if you want to spend sometime in the holy city.
Try to reach Dhanaulti by evening so that you can enjoy the pleasant dusk and the view of the sun
setting behind the mountains. Check into your hotel and explore the quaint hill-station.
By road: Dhanaulti is around 320 km from Delhi and it will take you about 9 hours to reach. Dhanaulti
can be approached either via Rishikesh or Dehradun. Dhanaulti is around 60 km from Dehradun. You
can reach Dhanaulti via Rishikesh and return via Dehradun, or do it the other way around. Rishikesh
to Dhanaulti is about 100 km and can easily take you around 4 hours. If you go via Dehradun, the
distance reduces to about 60 km but the travel time remains almost the same. As there are no direct
buses to Dhanaulti, the ideal way is to go by taxi. You can take a bus to Dehradun and take a shared
taxi from there.
By train: The nearest railway station to Dhanaulti is at Dehradun (60 km), which is well-connected to
all parts of India.
By air: The nearest airport to Dhanaulti is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about
80 km away.
Day 2: Dhanaulti attractions
The ideal way to explore Dhanaulti is to not have an itinerary. The weather is pleasant throughout
the year and the views of surrounding peaks and rolling mountains is stunning. Enjoy the sunrises
and sunsets, walk around the hamlet on foot and if you are fond of photography, click some of the
most memorable frames. Stay the night in Dhanaulti. If you want, you can also try camping. There is
one campsite in the Eco Park of Dhanaulti. There are several camp sites on the Dhanaulti – Mussoorie
road and a few spots to set up a camp near Kaddu Khal village. There are several luxurious camps
here as well
Day 3: Dhanaulti to Delhi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive towards Delhi.
