Check here the West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTDC) recently launched a two-days, one-night bus and boat trip package to explore the Sonakhali, Sudhanyakhali, Sajnekhali and Dobanki Tour Package.

Day I Itinerary
➢ 08.00 AM – Assemble at Tourism Centre, 3/2 B.B.D. Bag (East), Kolkata – 700001
➢ 08.30 AM – Departure Kolkata by bus for Sonakhali. 11.30 A.M. Arrive Sonakhali, walk a distance of 10 minutes for transfer to M.V. Chitrarekha or M.V. Sarbajaya by mechanized boat.
➢ 12.00 Noon – Departure Sonakhali. Visit Sudhanyakhali and Sajnekhali Watch Towers. Night stay on
board at MV Chitrarekha or Sarbajaya.
Day II Itinerary
➢ 05.30 AM – Depart for Dobanki.
➢ 09.00 AM – Arrive Dokanki, visit Watch Tower.
➢ 10.00 AM – Depart Dobanki.
➢ 01.30 PM – Arrive Sonakhali. Transfer to Jetty. Bus will be kept a little off from the Bus Stand (near
Petrol Pump) Board the bus.
➢ 02.00 PM – Depart Sonakhali by Bus.
➢ 05.30 PM – Arrive Esplanade, Kolkata. The tour ends.
Note: The timings are estimated and are likely to vary depending upon tidal or road condition etc.
Cruise through Burirdabri Jungle and visit Jhingakhali Watch Tower, in addition to itinerary for 1 night 2 days tour.
Cancellation of Sundarban Package Tours
» 15 Days and before excluding the date journey – 40% upon Package rate
» Between 15 days and 7 days excluding the date of journey – 60% upon Package rate
» Less than 7 days – No Refund
Some Important Notes
» During the course of the package the decision of the tour conducting office would be final.
» For commercial viability of the tour, minimum booking of 12pax for 1N-2D and 16 Pax for 2N -3D is required. At-least on clear 05 days advance (excluding the date of package tour), the tourists may be informed and re-confirmed about the operation of the package. If the number of tourists is less, than the tour may be cancelled and full refund will be initiated.
» It is compulsory for tourists to carry a valid Photo ID card like passport or Voter ID or Aadhar
Card. (Passport and Visa for Foreigner Tourist).
» The timings are estimated and are likely to vary depending upon tidal or road condition etc.
» The Coupe rate is for 2 Pax. Other rates are on per head basis.
» The rate includes transportation, specific accommodation (VESSEL) Spot visit permit, food and sightseeing. The package rate does not include Camera Charges.
» Children of 3 years and above would be charged full.
» Itinerary may be changedor altered may be deleted due to exigency and unavoidable circumstances.
» Please note Sundarban is a “No Plastic Zone”. Please do not carry plastic material.
» Ensure wearing of mask by everyone including Tourists.
» Please carry proper sanitization kits.
» Maintain social distancing of 02 meters or feet.
» Allow small groups of visitors at a time to avoid crowding.
» Use proper waste disposal system.
» Proper gloves are used while handling of luggage, spray and wipe luggage handles.
